Silly as it sounds, if it wasn't against Blackburn I think he would've scored the third.

Re: Emenike
He is behind Sakho and before Valencia.Carroll will have to make do with 10/15 mins if he manages to recover from yet another injury. Barcodes will probably come in with a pay as you play deal for Carroll. Cut our losses on him and Valencia so we can upgrade for next season.

Re: Emenike
Based on yesterday...

Good technique....control...strong shot...right foot...

Good movement...never stopped running...predstory striking instincts...calm under pressure...

Didnt see much of his aerial game...or holding the ball up and layoffs...

Definite improvement on Jelavic...CFC...as backup striker...

Collyrob, I put a bet on Emenike to score based on your "i reckon he will get a brace" post. I think that was you anyway.

Re: Emenike
He's second choice behind sakho for me.

More mobile, durable and better finisher than carroll.

Valencia is a bit limited up top so I'd rather him out wide.

Re: Emenike
After Payet he was the best player on the pitch especially second half.

Will only get better, two nice goals and could have had 4 or 5.

Anyone who thinks otherwise is a footballing mong.....

Re: Emenike
FFS. Scores 2 in an FA Cup ties against a Championship side. that we traditionally lose, and still not happy.

Reminds me of Antonio is some ways, powerful, quick and a work ethic, may need to get a bit fitter but he can do that scoring against the likes of Sunderland all day long as far as I'm concerned.

For once we gave someone a 5-1 shooeing away from home. Next up Sunderland who will, after beating Man Utd, think they have turned the corner. Then they get to play against Payet, Lanzini, Antonio, Emenike, Kouyate (red card notwithstanding) Moses (yes I think he is warming up a bit now) and in the wings Sakho, Valencia, Carroll.

Which will be a bit different from playing at home against a Man Utd side that is completely de-motivated and had Wayne Rooney playing. I am hoping for a similar scoreline to this one in 1989, Stuart Slater's goal still one of my top 20 goals seen in the ground

Croe,

No, I was responding to Alf who said Emineke would scuff one in. I just stated that if he was going to get a lucky goal it would probably be off his TREVOR SINCLAIR sized arse.

Were you not saying the only way he would score would be off his FAT ARSE?

I could be wrong, but wasn't he playing in the same league that we picked up Lanzini from?

Which basically would make that a load of old pap, as he's already proved that there are brilliant players waiting to be picked up from Abu Dhabi or wherever it was.
